Oh man, I'm so glad my hospital had smaller ones. Well, I am glad now - I wasn't glad when I had blood running down my legs 9 hours after delivery because the stupid pad sucked. And ditto Kelly on pp recovery being time consuming. Between the squirt bottle, tucks, dermoplast, and pads, peeing is quite the production these days.
Perhaps I'm massively lucky in at least that department because I was in regular "Always Ultra" pads a day after delivery. Maybe it was my crappy placenta or maybe it was the fact that I delivered at 32 weeks rather than full term...but that pad you have above would do me for a week or more (eww gross).
When I got home from the hospital, my mom was putting all of my stuff away. She put my pads under the bathroom sink. I sobbed because I couldn't reach them. Chris walked into the bathroom trying very hard not to laugh at me sobbing.
Hahah, I remember those! The ones at my hospital gave me (TMI!) a pretty gross rash... As if C-section recovery wasn't unpleasant enough without itching like mad for the next two weeks. I should probably throw away the extras still hiding out under the sink.
Hahahaha! This is awesome. Post-partum recovery is just oh so gross and time-consuming!
